ya i was going to say, it hasnt rained. it did last week and there was snow but it hasnt since. i wouldnt go up. my trucks not even done yet anyways. it should be ready in time for the good stuff.

I was bored earlier so i started building a high-lift holder that bolts it inside my bed.
the driveline steel just keeps staring at me though...

the dl is hella easy and fast to make...just throw a bead down and grind it flat, bolt it on and your good to go

you know a good way to eliminate DL rattle from those square shafts. run a zig-zaged bead like this /\/\/\/\/\ down one side of the slip and then grind it down till it just bearly slides like you almost have to pound it in. grease it up and youll be good to go.

ill try that sunday when i get home... my sounds horrible, its not just a little tank tink tank, its like gsudestss, gdstustesss, tink clank, gsdtustessss.... it makes you cringe

i wrapped mine with lots of duct tape, until it barely slid in and greased it up, worked great for a year

im gonna do the zig-zag welds too,
I got a good new flap-disk for my grinder i bet i can work them down till it fits perfect all the way.

i wrapped mine with tape once also.  it worked awesome for about 3 trips and then the tape wore away.

seriously weld it up like i said and then grind smooth till it BARELY fits. i dont know from personal experience, but kinda. callens is like that. i noticed his shaft didnt make any noice at all really. saw it laying on the floor when it was pulled out and found out why. just do that and greese it good and you should be set.

on a side note: STORM is on its way! its raining right now and will be for the next 2 days and then i guess it might clear up but then its going to be snowing for a few weeks!!!!

no. id still be leaning towards the end of january begining of feb is when theres lots of snow pack if winter has been right. but if theres 2 weeks staight of snowing ill be up there every other weekend till the run with lilbuddy like usual probably.
