me in dual ultimate gear, creeping through the fat hole and making it wider, yes i was still moving
I didnt take worth pictures. Ill put em up on photobucket though.
o, you usually take a lot of pics
yeah there was only a little getting stuck, my buddy with 37 toyos, was getting stuck, he said he hates those tires, the snow should be better next weekend, after it gets hard
ya the 2 or 3 people that had those tires were getting stuck every 20 ft. those tires do suck. there good for full size trucks like duramax's, F350s, dodges...etc. the side walls dont bag for anything and the compound is super hard.
good timesi need to go up again it about 2-3 weeks with less rigs, but still fun.we need pics!Callen
When I wheeled with them on my trunner they did great.
1/2 pound psi? thats possible..?
thanks again for the ride callen....and if ya go in a couple weeks, let me know...ill be more than happy to drag your yota up there again and when i slid sideways tryin to get the dmax off the side of the road...i did a small amount of damage to the frt pass side door....small but noticable....its all good though...i had a blast man. best snow run ive been on in a while!
Wow this is the first time I've seen you post on here homo.Sorry I didn't make it. I wanna make it up there before the snow melts tho.
ive posted here...just trying to avoid you well...if you didnt act like a tard and break your daddy's truck you could have went couldnt ya but ya dude...ya definetly need to come wheelin up here
is .5psi even worth it?
Gettiing stuck and getting stuck often is the name of the game when wheeing in the snow(regardless of tire size), especially when you are breaking trail and dealing w/the depths that you guys had last weekend.PSI is dependant upon the snow conditions, I usually start off w/about 10(AT's), and then adjust from there down. Dropping from 7psi to 5[si makes a difference in traction and so does from 5 to 3 and so on. You want the tire to have enough flex so that it can grip the snow as you drive along, when at the right psi for the tore the tire will resemble an almost track like look, i.e, a patch of snow then a small clear section of tire than a patch of snow, then clear etc. Fortunately unlike MT's AT's have a softer sidewall and flatten out sooner(larger foot print) than MT's allowing them to run at a higher pressure which helps to avoid blown beads, this allows you to get the same/better performance out of a smaller size AT than a larger MT.
