Im a lazy b*std...
We went to moonrocks and had a blast..
Then i took my truck to fordyce and met some buddies.
I rocked the piss out of my truck on Fordyce.. it was awesome...
Im redoing my rearend with some chevy leafs soon,
and if all goes well ill have my dual cases this week.
Yeah you read that right, Dual Cases!!! woop!

So big update

In preparation for marlins rubicon run, i bought a set of 63" chevy springs, hacked off the rear suspension, built me my own set of dual shackles, along with some new 6 inch main shackles, built my own spring hangers, gusseted the new rear axle housing, along with a sick breather/filler spout/inspection hole that comes up through the gusset, and a whole bunch of other stuff...

But the biggest update is,
I Ordered a Marlin 4.70 gear drive transfer case and adapter!!

Yeah, sorry about no pics, my cams setting in the seat of my truck way down at the shop...
but yeah, the transfer case should be ready in around 3-5 days, and i should have it in plenty of time for the roundup.
Ill get some pics of the dual shackles and 63 chevys..
Im also working on fabricating some custom bushing'd motor and tranny mounts that will lift the motor and drivetrain around 2". Ill let you guys know how that all goes..

Hey, aside from buying it, this is the first time ive dropped more than a grand at one time on upgrades,
And this beast has done awesome for what its got, and how much i got into it (diddly $hit) 

Im debating on what to do for a crossmember/skidplate...
Ive been pondering buying Front Range Offroads Plate cutout and building something off of that.
Tuki built an awesome skidplate out of something like this and some steel tubing, but i cant find the damn thread now...





Theres also a long list of other upgrades that have to happen along with the transfer case, drivetrain lift/semi-flatbelly, and rear springs.
Instead of shortening my driveline now because of the case and adapter plate, and then having to do it again if i end up going duals, im gonna cut the horseshoe cross member and carrier bearing mount and move it back an inch and tuck it up.
Im also gonna have to do some exhaust mods, and if i get time, im gonna raise the fuel tank up too.

Ok, so i found the thread, and heres some pics to give you and idea of what i want to do...
Im pondering paying the $54 for the cutout, or making my own like they did. They did it with a torch, i have some good skill with my plasma cutter.. but idk...
