electrical problem

i have a problem when im driving and i hit the brakes once its warm it almost kills the truck like a bad ground anyone have any ideas o ya its an 88 4 runner 22re
1992 toy single cab built very little highsteer on 39.5s

Are you sure it is electrial? It could be a vaccum related problem too.

leak in the vacuum booster or bad check valve.

it should be cheap right? is it an in expensive fix? consider im doing it by my self :crossed:

disconnect the vac line to the booster at the manifold and put a cap on it. try to make the truck die. *NOTE* when you do this, you will NOT have power brakes.  the pedal will be very hard.

also, try sparying the line with starting fluid or carb cleaner.  if you hear the engine pick up while spraying a certain spot, there is a leak there.

k i tried that any other ideas it has a exhaust leak could that have anything to do with it :hammerhead:

sounds like a vacuum leak to me we will have to look at.
