Right you are. I guess I am too lazy to go digging for info. So what is the deal then?

Edit: Is this before or after we started talking about it again?

dude im at school on t-th from 7am-7pm and work from 530am-anywhere between 230 and 4 m-w-f and im sooooooo tired also, but i still make time to get on here and check out whats new and keep in touch with the few people i am acquainted with....dont feed us the line your toooooo tired.... as i can speak for most people here we all work hard yet still make time

I for one, will say, no, you don't speak for me. once you are out of school, and have a REAL, (at least) 5 DAY A WEEK job, and have to pay for EVERYTHING on your own, then you might be able to speak for others. Take the flaming back to Pirate and leave it there.

I think rocksurfer is in a little better position to comment on roc doc's activities. Not everyone can get by working TWO days a week, then sit on their :moon: the other three, pushing a pencil. Being the owner of a small starting business in the construction industry, also with no employees, I can understand where he's coming from. Work for me is not limited by time of day or day of the week, and I'm pretty sure that RS can attest to having to work at times, when He'd rather be doing something else.

Roc Doc, glad to have you on the board, and the best of luck to you in your new venture. Maybe you could open a new thread in the new members section, tell us a little about yourself, and post some pics of your work. I would be interested to see.

I will ask again. Is the shop located in Casper, Wyoming?

93tonkatoy

Yes, KDX, that's what he said.

"Redfield's Off-Road Supply"

Hey some of you might recognize me from the toyotaoffroad.com forum as 92rocdoc.  I opened my own business here in Casper the 1st of this month "Redfield's Off-Road Supply" and I posted on here because I used to be able to log on all the time and chat in the chat box at the top of the forum.  But since I opened my own shop I simply don't have time.  There is sooooo much business in these parts that I go to the shop at 7 AM and usually don't get home until 7 or 8 PM and by then I am soooo tired that I don't want to do a damned thing.  I am finally taking today and gonna go run the trails Metal Masher and Splice.  Haven't been wheeling in a month.  I can't afford employee's yet so I am running the shop by myself and thanks to my cousin and loving wife.

Scott Redfield

I don't see Wyoming in there anywhere. There could be more than one Casper in the US. Plus I have never heard of those trails before. Actually I don't know any of the names for trails around here. I just drive out and hit it. There is the place over by the mountains off of Hat Six, and there is Poison Spyder. Those are the two that I know about, besides forest service stuff. Never seen the store before either.

93tonkatoy

His profile on toyotaoffroad.com says location is Lusk, Wyoming. I take it that's close to you.

ok smart guy... i had to cut back my hours from SIX 9 hours days to THREE 8-10 hour days so i can go to school and get an education...

and RS has over 7000 posts

i wasnt trying to be mean, i was just saying that i have a busy ass schedule also and still make time to come on

You're flaming the guy for not having time to come chat with people on a discussion board because he's busy working?  :headscratch:

Hey all I'm Scott's wife, Ashley.  I'm the one that has been logging on and checking out the forum.  While Scott is out in the shop busting ass and making a living for he and I, I am in the office ordering parts, taking phone calls, setting up appointments etc.  So if you would, stop being a group of :moon:s.  None of the wheelers that I know personally are :moon:s, why should you be?  Do you want to start a new trend or something?  Whatever guys, I have seen first hand how hard my husband works to get this shop up and going in the morning.  On average I leave from the shop at 5 and go home and start dinner while he is still at work busting ass to finish up a project or to make an order to go out.  You guys have no idea how hard he is working to achieve he and his fathers dreams.  So please, stop writing a crock of bull :pokinit:.

i for one am not doubting how hard he is working  or how hard it is to start up a business, i believe the original issue was the first post. instead of just saying hey i opened a new shop here is the name and address, he tried to (or you if you were the one posting) tried to make it sound like he was missing all his buddies and didn't have time to talk as he usually did. When in truth he, or you, had almost never been on this board (at least under this screen name). It, from my stand point, was a little condescending to think we (or i guess i should say I as i can not speak for everyone) would not be able to tell the difference. i say good luck with the new business i hope all goes well, in the future i would simply just suggest if your going to PIMP your business (no prob with that) just be honest about it.

Aww, how cute -> dude's treating this website like it's a neglected girlfriend.

Hey man, no need to say sorry.  Just post up and tell us something cool every now and then.  Or have your wife post more(I would say something else but this isn't pirate ;) )

Anyway - thanks for checking in.  Don't forget to brush your teeth no matter how busy you get, ok?  And good luck with the shop - remember - bite sized bits add up.  Don't gobble more than you can chew because you just might choke.  Take it easy and spend time with family.  Do the right things and the money will come.

Over and out!
