I hate even posting this question!  Our dishwasher has died!  It was a cheap model and it still held on for 10 years!  I need to buy a new one, and I have no idea on what's good and bad!  My wife and mother-in-law are BITCHING about having to do dishes by hand.

~So, what do you have and do you recommend it?
~Any sites that you recommend on looking at for comparison's?
~I don't want to spend more than $500~

I've gone to a few websites that compare models and stuff, and it seems that every model has alot of good comments and bad comments!  I just don't want to get one installed and have problems with it and tear it back out!

Check out consumer reports for that and see what they have tested. That will give you a good idea on what not to get or point you in the right direction.

God I would love to!  But if I want some luvin, I'll keep my mouth shut!  My problem is, I married a woman that has a brain!  I had gf's that would do anything I said, but they weren't very mentally stimulating.  My mother-in-law, I'm not going to go into that!  I have to keep my beer that I drink in my shop, or she'll have it drank in no time!  That and she's always sick or her arthritis is keeping her from doing anything today/everyday!

I was loaned somebodies password for consumer reports and they rate 2 of the top models are kenmores!  One thing to remember is that one company will produce one model and sell it under five different brands!  So, I need to find out which brand name has the same model, but sells it cheaper!
