 I'm having a prob i got this 87 Toyota i put a new battery in it right when i got it just recently everytime i rev it up id say past 4 grand the battery light and the brake light flicker on and off is it a charging prob or is the truck handicap? o ya i put a deep cycle battery in it it. it was all i had if that makes a difference also what battry termanal do you take off to test the alternator?  :dunno: thanks for your help

get a regular battery  befor you burn up your alt,  the reason the  lights come on  is because its charging faster than the deepcycle  can take a charge

what kind of deep cycle? optima deep cycles can be used as starting batteries and can handle being charged as one
