Crap!! My friend called me last night while i was at work and tells me "We are leaving in an hour to go to an offroad show in LA, come with us!"

And just as I started to reply to this thread he left me a message telling me I was an idiot for not coming. His dad is a pro baja racer and his new sponser is showing off the truck he is going to be racing in.....

well this year was a awesome show... got me a 60" hi-lift jack for 65$ and two tow shackles for $20 bought dezert people cinco too! tons of fun. saw Mr.Marlin himself also.. i was like " thats the man!" hahaha

Saw Marlin too, talked to him for a minute. Watched the Rockcross and ran into a bunch of friends  It was a good time.

O-yea, might have a tire sponsor if I compete next year

Sweet show for sure,went Saturday and had a blast then tried to go again today but never made it  .Got there at the same time as Marlin and Christine so I walked part of the first building with him and split up,Christine took a picture of me,my wife and kids so maybe Slacker Mike can post it,Marlin said he would tell him to,first picture is of Myself,my son and Marlin and after looking at the picture I see TacoRunner was about to give me Bunny Ears    .

My buddie Ernie's Super Duty...This cat is a good friend of mine but it pisses me off that a couple years back he had never seen the dirt,he had a full on show Astro van with sponsors,we take him to Glamis,he gets hooked,sells the show van,buys a Chevy Avalanche,talks to his connections,gets it fully built with 14" of lift,sweet shocks,new paint,swampers,the whole deal and makes it on the cover of Four Wheeler Mag,then sells it,builds a Dub Edition Chrysler 300,sells THAT buys this Super Duty gets hooked up again and then gets on the cover of LAST month's Four Wheeler ...Not hating on him,I just love giving him a hard time about it,he's a cool cat and a good friend of mine.

I was out at the offroad courses all three days. I tried walking the show during my breaks but ran into some friends from other companies or my sponsors. So, I didn't get to see much.

Ha Ha,glad you asked...There were PLENTY of chicks this time but I've been going out and beeing a bad boy lately and wifey wasn't having it this time,shoot I didn't get home till about 3 AM the night before  .Needless to say everytime I looked at a hot girl and back at her she just gave me the look,LOL.

seemed like the only thing going on at the rock racing was flopping... nothing aginst the drivers but they sure were going over alot. And the track was ...well... boring. 2 ledges and the one after the start line...just wasn't all that exciting. I went to the 3pm show on sat, and by the third race the stands were half empty.
