Hey all, it's been a while! I used to frequent the board here a little bit a few years back when I lived in sunny SoCal. I've grown a family since then and relocated to Arkansas. Back in Cali I used to go wheeling all the time with friends who were into their Yota's and Jeeps out in the desert, but since Ive moved here I notice a severe lack of Toyota enthusiasm. Mostly full size Dodge and GM... Also the wheeling is a totally different animal here. Muddy shady wooded trails, slick and slimy. Rather than bashing your truck on rocks, you slide into trees, and break mirrors on branches. It's nice, I just miss the social aspect of it so I'm hoping to connect with some other southern Toyota folks on here. I've also kind of run out of money and motivation with my old faithful 82 pickup, and shifted my attention to my newly acquired 1988 Toyota FJ62 LandCruiser.
More seating for the family you see! Anyhow if I chronicle any buildup here, it's going to be the cruiser, cuz the HiLux is getting sold, (I hope) SO that's it for my long winded intro!
Cheers!
