Mogs are cool but too big IMO. I like the axles under rigs.

downhill....no power anything...even the windshield wiper fluid was a manual pump on the wood dash...thing caught on fire more times than i could count too....got old after a while

The main thing would be ground clearance,  Everything is usually above midline of the tire with a mog, and second they have portal boxes on the ends so there is a final gear reduction at the wheel reducing the stress of larger tires on the rest of the system...  I think they are probably lighter too but im not posative on that....   However I dont  think their quite as structurally strong,  I think the portal boxes are prone to break since they wernt desighned for horizontal load...   They both have their advantages and disadvantages...
