Harness Seat Belts - Moutning Point??
« on: Sep 05, 2007, 06:26:47 PM »
Hi,

Just wondering where most people fit the rear mounting point to? Being a pickup most belts are made to go to the rear seat moutning points (in cars).

Ive read that they should not mount on the floor and the lowest they should be behind you is about shoulder height. Pics would be a great help as well.

Cheers,

Now I have finished rebuilding the mechanical side of things, I can finally turn all my spare cash and effort to off-road modifications!

Thanks guys.

I was thining to bolt a plate either side of the back wall then bolt through for the mounting point. if you have seen it done before thats good enough for me.  :)

Use a nice big plate to spread out the force as best you can.
IFS is best kept at ambient temperature in a pile of scrap in the backyard.  When kept under a functioning vehicle, it tends to greatly diminish said vehicle's offroad ability.     -reklund5
