Making my own vid

Hey all, I am gonna try and make my own vid.  I had a buddy took and hooked his CD Player up to his VCR in place of the Audio cables from his Camera.  Any info or tips would be great.  Thanks,

wiat a minute? you are trying to run video streams to record on a cd player through audio jacks?! um yeah....... that isnt going to work..

You are going to play music to the input of the audio on the camera so you don't have to do it later, right

okay... you are trying to hookup the LR audio jacks from the Cd player to the VCR so you can record sound on to the video tape?


Hmm...... I don't think that will work. Try it.. post back.

If it records sound off the tv that way then it MIGHT work... i dunno.. hmmm....

Well, radioshack has the necessary electronic components to make it work.  I am gonna do it without any background sound, all that will be able to be heard will be the music, I think it would be cooler that way.  It would be like a snowboard video.

I've seen lots of stunt bike videos.  I like the ones with background noise the best.  The all music sort of takes away from the reality of it, don't you think?

Naw I think it will be fine.  I have been watching vids on Youtube and some of them don't have background sound and they are friggin awesome.
