I dont have any pic's right now, buy i used a pice of 2x2x.250. I plated the top & sides of the frame & put the 2x2 across the top of the frame rails. I dont know if it will work for you though, i have a 2 inch body lift.

go wit the sky, for the price it cant be beat, unless youve got the skillz to make it yourself, the idea is sound though, and very common

Yeah, I got torches, welders and most of the metal. Just not a piece of square stock that long though. I'll get some tomarrow. I'll make something and take pics. And let you guys tell me what you think. Gonna be a DD for alittle while longer so I'll mount them pretty close to horizontal. The good thing is I'll be able to drill additional holes in it for different mounting. Still if anybody has pics it be cool. Just brainstormin for ideas. Thanks

I'm happy with my Sky-Manu. shock bar! Just be sure to plate the frame where you weld the bar to it otherwise it will start tearing off.

I used 2" DOM tube & went from the x-member for the spare tire to the x-member tube behind the fuel tank.

I also put a couple of gussets between the 2x2 & the inside of the frame rails.

Got the shocks mounted today. I plated the frame and did gusset it. It ain't moving!! Got a piece of 2x2 square tubing and drilled a few different mounting holes. Hardest part was running out of Argon in the middle of it all. Anyway here's some pics. One of them is for Jamies driveshaft service in Fredericksburg, Va. He's a great guy and really reasonable. He had some neat stuff at his shop when I took my driveshaft to him. The others are of Peggy's Cove, Nova Scotia. Went there last week on a cruise and it was awesome. It's just miles of rocks and boulders. These pictures don't really do it any justice. It's all preserved though. So no riding there.
