my camra is at the inlaws with the wife.
yes everything was put together right,i have ran this for about 2 years.
if you look at the frame this is a spot for alot of pressure,it hasnt like split yet but you can see the crack if your looking for it.
im looking to prevent this again,i have heard of this being a problem before.
my fab skills are up to par as is my welding,i am pretty well rounded.
i can fix this, and i know what broke it.now im just looking for ideas on what others have done to stop this.
im just picky about my rig and want this fixed in the best way i can find.

forgot this, yes i am running hy steer i have the full front kit,and the steering box is in the stock location. if this helps any

You should really run some bracing from the spring hanger back to the frame on the bottom.

Weld the crack & grind it down. Then plate over it. I haven't had to do this yet but thats how I would do it. Now you got me wondering  :headscratch: I better check this before MCR6  :willynilly:

drill a hole to stop the crack first then plate and weld.

I have also seen this become a problem. I have some ideas and will post up when I get a chance to work on it

I think LiLbuddy had this problem if I am not mistaken. There may be some pics somewhere.

If I recall it was caused from pushing the frame front and back. This is from bumping one wheel causing the frame to diamond.

I could be wrong. Pictures would help.
