rear driveshaft - rebuilt by Tom Woods
« on: Aug 01, 2007, 05:35:05 PM »
I have a rear driveshaft that was rebuilt by Tom Woods about 1000 miles ago (hit a rock and had to send it back to them).  Re-tubed, greased, and painted.  It is set up for dual cases and 4" of all pro lift...non-CV.  $150 O.B.O.  ship on your dime

(edit) I bought the truck with an aftermarket shaft (not sure what kind)...I sent it to Tom Woods to rebuild when it was damaged.  I can get specs if anyone is interested.

sorry, forgot to say that...I am in Alpine, TX.  I THINK shipping would be like 20 something bucks.  If I remember right, that is about what I paid to send it to Tom Woods (Utah).  PM me and we can talk about shipping if you want.

I am open to offers or partial trades for an 84 and later CV front d-shaft.

It would probably be a good thing if you put up pictures, and the compressed/extended length. That would help people with their decision. :twocents:

The battery's on my camera are dead and I don't have time to buy new ones right now  :tantrum:  :hammerhead: .  I will take pics on Sunday and also take measurements.  I have to help a buddy move that lives about 5 hours away.  I should have everything up Sunday night.  I can do $160 shipped if anybody is interested (since shipping will pretty much be a requirement because of where I live  :yesnod: ).  Like I said...shipping will probably be between 20 and 30 bucks so I am looking for around 130-140 bucks for the shaft (not including shipping).  I will be back in town tonight before I leave for Abilene; so if anybody is serious about the d-shaft, I will make time to take measurements and get them up tonight before I leave.  Thanks, Brendan

I should have pics up soon...I just wanted to say this is a trail only shaft.  It vibrates on the highway because of not having a cv.  I figured this out on the road trip...so...$100 or best offer.
