Aaron's 72' project "KillerKruiser"

ok so here is the buildup of my FJ40


About 1-1/2 years ago I started this build.



chevy tilt column



We cut and turned the front axle, did a SOA and high steer.

The engine is a 5.3chevy out of a 2002 pickup




i also got edelbrock block hugger headers

The tranny and T-case are a sm420 with an advanced adapters rockbox and stock transfercase

The front axle is a stock fj40 with chromoly birfields and 27spline chromoly axles

and the rear is a full floater out of a fj60



both axles will have the stock gearing and ARB'S

nice, I miss my 67 FJ40, they are sweet rigs.  Should be an cool rig when you are done.
1986 Toyota 4Runner 22re 5spd transmission and dual transfer cases (4.7’s in the rear). E-lockers front and rear.

2005 GMC Sierra diesel, compound turbo setup to pull.

Thats ironic... My buddy was just talking about his plans to put a newer 5.3 in his Nova....I think thats an awesome motor choice for this build...lookin good!

well this thing has gone no where. I found out the headers wont work, I have to get ones that dump in the middle.
