nother spring question

does anyone know how the sky jacker 6 inch front and rear spring flex. are they stiff or soft ad a few leaf or take a few out thanks in advance

you can mix anythign you want, but its best to start out with a pack that is already flexy using htinner leaves... the reason is, the skyjackers are stiff, and if you start removing leafs, it may not be able to handle all the weight anymore... might end up being too flexy in that case and cause breakage

ok i bought a set of springs that just have a part number and i have no clue who makes them can you help me out 01-7004dr-6

they should be fine.... depends on how you run your 85 and what you need to it.... the dc taco has more cab but less bed....

i am not sure what those springs are off of, sure they are toyota? i looked up the part number several different ways and found nothing

ya they cam off an 86 or 88 4 runner or was it a 90 pick up they jumbed it a few times and bent the back springs so i have to replace a few leafs on it
