Hey everyone...  I'm DTB's "nemesis"!!!  Truth be told I'm not all that truck savvy, but I'm a pretty good sport when it comes to "parts runs" and bleeding breaks <----- I swear, I'd better get promoted soon!  That's all for now, but stay tuned.... there'll be plenty of DTB tales revealed over time!

No way when?!  Too bad about DTB - he works some strange hours...    But yeah, both James and Ezra are awesome - especially when it comes to putting up with my cooking!

HI! glad u made it here finally! yea i have to admit she is pretty damn quick to learn this stuff, from welding to fabrication, to brake bleeding. I was trying to get my rear driveshaft on and the carrier bearing mount was totally bent up....so im under there beating it with the BFH, cursing, for like 20 minutes and she comes out and is like, "why dont u just heat it up with the torch?"  :hammerhead:

Hey MrsPA... yeah, that would be cool!  We'll have to get a "truck party" going when you finally get here!

FYI, there are many criteria that need to be fulfilled for a "truck party" to come together and they are as follows:  cold drinks (unless it's February and 20 degrees outside), enough people in the garage so that all "helping hands" could not POSSIBLY work on the truck at the same time, we also need a TRUE "truck dilemma" where a critical tool is missing, or something is REALLY stuck etc., AND MOST IMPORTANTLY good food.....  waddya think????

DanS

Well thats great, born and raised and still living in Dundalk, Ontario. 2 hours north of 'TO', 1 hour west of Barrie, 45 minutes north of Orangeville.
What do you notice most different living the 'States' from living in Canada?

:yesnod:  My kinda girl!  You're on!  haha.  Maybe something gets SO stuck that the critical tool BREAKS, at which point there's simply nothing left to do besides eat, drink, and talk about what might have been.

Hey Dan.... you're not too far from Alliston are you?  Care to share any honest thoughts/feelings about T.O.?  I think even people who LIVE in Toronto hate it on some level.

Anyway, I don't know if there are too many "real" (i.e. more than anacdotal) differences between the two countries.  I think that like Canada, there are more differences within the country itself!

Notice how I managed to evade any/all contentious social debates - tell me that's not a typical Canadian maneuver?!

IFS is best kept at ambient temperature in a pile of scrap in the backyard.  When kept under a functioning vehicle, it tends to greatly diminish said vehicle's offroad ability.     -reklund5

Hey Gittinit.... great pic!  Yup, (most of) those guys look pretty darn familiar!  And don't let Ezra tell you that was just "coffee" in the cup he was holding - he is BY FAR the happiest-looking and most alert person of the bunch!

:welcome: Campfire Girl hates it when I ask here to help bleed my brakes, pump, pump, pump, hold......... pump, pump, pump, hold...... well maybe she likes it when I say pump but she hates it when I ask her to hold it.  :rofl2:

Pics will be posted in good time CTENG - be patient my friend.  As for you talkin' trash, you better "check yo-self" as Ice Cube would say.... 'cause Ezra's been teaching me how to arm wrestle and plus, I'm Canadian so I don't have a problem droppin' the gloves.... you don't wanna get yourself "jerseyed" by a girl!   ;)

Rocksurfer,

I felt compelled to let you know that I'm in the process of creating an International Standardized Point System (I.S.P.S) to create peace and harmony between the worlds of "truck " and "woman".... you know, for all the times you guys ask (ever so sweetly) "hey.... could you help me for a sec" or MY FAVE "hey... are you doin' anything right now???"

I haven't calculated the exact number of points that ought to be awarded for break bleeding, but I think it'll equate to a foot rub or MAYBE spending an afternoon with us at the mall!

Watch out... between Campfire Girl and I, all the kinks in I.S.P.S. are gonna be worked out and it'll ready for "test market" in no time!
