The things that come to those who wait, may be the things left by those who got there first.

I contend that for a nation to try to tax itself into prosperity is like a man standing in a bucket and trying to lift himself up by the handle.

Censorship, that most subtle tool of oppression, the tool of the fearful and small minded. 8/15/2008

"It is interesting that we are asked to NOT judge all Muslims by the actions of a few lunatics. Too bad gun owners can't get same judgment."

I spent 6 years managing construction of cell sites for various companies, where I was in charge of the build from ground up.  I now work as an inspector, actually a supervisor for a team of inspectors.

We get a bunch of cell sites to hit, and map them out and knock them out, one by one.  Most of these cell sites are on the peaks of mountains or rooftops.

Before that, every week was spent waiting for the weekend to get into the 4x4 and go explore mountains.  Now, we do it for a living.  If I won the lotto, I would PAY to do my job.

I get special access to private property and views no other man will ever see.
Blackhawk?  All those million dollar properties?  I get up on the billion dollar estates and look down on those and take nice pics for my wall at home.

Anytime you see gates on dirt roads - I can open them.  PG&E, PacBell, all utilities - I got the keys and codes.

It's nice working for a utility.  Prime private 4wheelin and private fishing spots, not to mention the views...

You can go through life being scared of the possible, or you can have a little fun and tease the inevitable.

Give a man venison, he'll eat for a day. Teach a man to hunt Blacktail, he'll be frustrated for life!

You can't really tell because of the lack of quality in this pic, but about 2 miles out the clouds end and it's bright and sunny.. you can barely see it in this pic

I wish I was.  That was last year, when contracts were flowing.
We are currently waiting for a "PO to get signed" by some snob in a suit in a corporate office before we can begin the next project.

Make no mistake, if we get good contracts and need people, I'll post up here.
Since I'm the boss and I have to deal with your bull:pokinit:, I'd prefer to hire guys familiar with outdoors and 4x4 and such.  Ya'll won't be wussies about having to go up a mountain, and perhaps encountering a bear, or bees, or a spider.(insert funny face that rolls eyes)

P.S:  Not much hiking, but some 4x4 trailage.  Also some ladder climbs and rooftop or cliffside careful steps.

Let it be known, I aint affeared of no bears :gap:  Only had one give me a funny feeling, that big boy last year that wouldn't back down for a few minutes, but he's the only one.  Bees, me and spiders don't get along well though :shudder:
