PLEASE bow your head
« on: Jul 11, 2007, 07:58:08 PM »
in a moment of silence  :inthedark:

Shes going to a new home on monday :shudder:

Hopefully the new owner will love her like I did

Unfortunetly I had to let her go and start over  :dunno:

Here are the last pics I will probably ever take of her

But this is whats taking her place  :beerchug:

"Never make your passion your occupation. it will loose it's luster and become work. that's why i never wanted to become a gynecologist!"

I also taught him how to put in 5min of hard work and then spend 15min staring and admiring what you have done...

Man Aaron, that woulda been a rough decision for me, the cruiser is cool, but your truck was awesome :yesnod:

It'll be a good build to watch though, thats for sure.  THis is something you're pulling out of the back closet right?  I thought I'd seen mention of the cruiser before?  mabye not :dunno:

Yeah, I had the cruiser before the truck but I just wasnt motivated to build it, but after going to the Rubithon trip I had a change of heart. So now it begins.

The new owner rolled it and it ended up at California Mini Truck, the guy driving it in the second picture is Ron's(the owner of Calmini)son.

That's what happens to rigs when they get rolled so bad that about the only thing left to salvage was the drive-train. On a good note I've been told it wasn't rolled while wheeling, it evidently was too far off to the right side and fell into the V-notch almost vertical. At that time it only had fender damage and the recovery operation did it in. It seems that during the recovery it stood up on its nose twisted around and then rolled several times down the waterfall. Fortunately Kenny was in the audience and not inside.

No I didnt have to get rid of it, but After going on the Rubithon trip and seeing all those beautiful cruisers, I had to make a decision. So it was either cut up the truck and make a back seat for the family or build the cruiser. So I chose to build the cruiser.  :gap:
