how good is marlins clutch?
« on: Jul 07, 2007, 03:54:03 PM »
I guess I could just wait and call the shop on monday  :phone: but I want to know now.  What is the holding strenth of the SHD chutch.  Can it hold up behind my 300+ lb tq of my 7mgte? can i buy the disk only since I already have a performance pressure plate from the supra? I did a search and found a lot of good things about the clutch I just want a little more info please. :)

Best bet would be to post up in product support and check on Monday.

it will be able to handle the supra motor...

marlins clutch is the best, but it was designed for a truck....

the plate already has wear into it from the old disk, you are supposed to replace the whole thing so its new surfaces mating.. CJ told me this when i did my clutch several years ago
