well got the v6 brake master cylinder today. its a direct bolt in to the brake booster, but i have to reroute my rear brake line to get it to fit. next is getting a new tailpipe (rusted off behind the muffler), and replacing my rear bumper.

i have brakes again! :woohoo: !!!!! parking brake on the other hand, i have about 4" of slack in the rear cable and the adjuster wont turn, just rounds off. took a look at my muffler and noticed that the front of it has rusted off, but after i fix the exhaust i should pass inspection and be good to go.

ohh sorry glen. i didnt realize that my ex's nip slipped in that pic until it was mentioned on here, and i dont wanna go showin her stuff, that was for my eyes only! i've got other pics that she took for me when i was headed outta town for a week, theres NO WAY i'm postin those up!! haha.

well i've got the exhaust welded up, easily the worst ark welding job i've ever done on about 2" of the crack (torsion bar was in the way so i couldnt see when i was welding, or i should say sticking on that part). but, its sealed up until i can do an exhaust upgrade after awhile. found a windshield for 80 bucks plus install so thats not bad. if the guy still has it theres a 79 solid axle and a t-case for 250 bucks. if he still has it then i'm lookin at doin an sas :woohoo:

As far as what to buy. It's usually harder to save large amounts of money. I would buy the expensive stuff first. The smaller nickle & dime stuff can come later & quicker cause it's easy to save small amounts of money  :twocents:

well right now i'm jobless and have a 500 dollar budget to use. with the sas i have access to free 2 1/2" lift springs, and if i cant get that axle/t-case then i know where at least 1 solid front axle is for sale for around 200 bucks.  for now i'll have to go with the stock steering setup until i can afford to get a crossover steering setup (wont be until a couple of months when i'm in the airforce. i need some money to be able to repaint the frame and fix my cab rust hole, but that should only cost me around 50 bucks since i'll be using herculiner bed liner to repaint the frame. windshield is needed for inspection (my dads payin for it). i'll call that guy again tomorro about the axle/t-case, if he doesnt have them anymore then looks like i'm headed to the pick-n-pull.

he forgot that i told him where i placed it (behind my truck in the garage), went to move my truck so he could get to something and ran over the windshield. he's found a replacement that can be installed tomorro though so that helps.

That's good, I hate when I have those kind of days. Sometimes it seems like nothing goes right. I have learned to keep my cool, it doesn't do anyone any good to get all kinds of pissed off. Hope you get your glass fixed soon.
