V8 VS STOCK TOY AXLES

whatīs your opinion on this how fast will I convert my rear to dana ??? or 9" landcrusier ?

note I have a chevy 350 tbi and a 700r4 auto and am gonna use toy duals.....
4runner body on a hilux frame = Hi-Runner.
 2,4 dti duals 2,28 x 2,28 to 8" 5.71 with arbīs  and 39,5" trxus
gathering parts for my goal which is
350 Chevy 700r4 auto to 2.28 x 4.70  and 4.88 9,5" cruisers diffs,diamondaxles and cable lockers, 44" richard cepecs

I don't see the issue? :headscratch:
I haven't seen a lot of broken REAR axles at all.

I have a Ford 302 In My 87 toyota with 33/13.50,s on 15x14 chevy truck rallys my stokc toyota rearend has held up fine and i have put it to the test i have tore a transmission out but not a rearend (Knock On Wood)the axles shafts are the same size as a ford 9inch in thickness from what i have been told ..the rearend isnt locked or anything like that so it doesnt have as much stress and one that is locked

the question is more of width, the toy axle is pretty darn strong. I went to dana (44/60) cause I wanted width. Really now there are custom toy axles and spacers etc so you CAN get width but I didn't go that route.

When I first built my 1st Gen S-10 with the small block 350 i ran early 80's toy axles.  I beat and beat and beat and beat on those axles for 2 years (before upgrading it) and never did hurt it.  Then I went to an 87 rear 4cyl 3rd with 4:88's spooled and beat on it for another two years until finally the carrier literally "split" apart or ripped in two.  The force of the spool on the carrier was just to much but up till then.... dry pavement power breaks, smoke shows and reverse to first just to se what would happen..  It took MUCH abuse before popping!
Thos lil axles are tough!!!!
