Honestly it's cheaper to buy some.

if you have a solid axle just use your stock ones and get some shocks that bolt up to them, however this only work with solid axle rigs.

If your close to Ontario, Canada I've got a set from 'Sky' that they sent by mistake, paid 65. American will sell for 50.00 but you pay for shipping

if i were to make them i would make some out of tube just like the companies make, but you cant beat the price and function of the ford towers.

Shock Mounts - Ford
Ford Part #E5TZ-18183-A

is what pirate has listed in the toyota FAQ. So I dont know, maybe the counter guy was kinda loopy. I always have trouble finding misc stuff for non-toyota parts i have with dealership parts people. If i remember correctly, they came on F150s only, 4x4, im thinking any year from the late 80s-90s. Could be wrong but im rather certain thats the vehicle.

If you have a tubing bender, then make your own.  Otherwise, for the price you can't beat the Ford shock towers.

ok i got them. went to a different ford dealer and the guy found them for me. nothing worse than parts ppl not wanting to do a little searching for you. and yes that is the right part number. for $50  its worth not having to go through the trouble of fabbing my own!

Yeah I would have gone with marlin's had I not found some ford towers locally for the price of a 12 pack of corona :P

I do feel a bit ashamed to know I have a ford part on my toyota, but hey, those towers are the only ford parts that will ever touch my truck so eh, whatever

I used 2 pieces of 1x1x0.120 square tubing and brought them to a point at the top and welded on tabs to connect the shocks.

You can kinda see them here...

I did hear somewhere that those Ford towers were discontinued, I bought a set for my Samurai and had to get them from petroworks.
