that was my thoughts, also, if your in highschool right now, you should still know how to spell axle too
Sand, what fun, drop pressure to 12psi, stock tires are still digging, can't afford to get stuck, 8psi, still not working. Find a place to GET OUT, air up, un-lock hubs,  WAIT whats this, hubs are UN-LOCKED already. 2wd, 8psi, stock tires, Oregon sand dunes.

see, it might have worked out for the better that you didnt pick it up at that specific moment..... go for the freebie, build it good, top gusset, knuckle gussets......and then go get some square tube, and gusset the bottome of the axle....shoot, do it on both sides, sometimes I wish I wouldnt have got the 85 axle I got, just becuase I coulda used round tube on the bottom of boths tubes.....or overtubed with plug welds and the like......

guy said you can have a free housing, but its not the strong housing from the factory, but, marlin makes alot of armor to beef it up, so do other companys, not trying to kill marlins business, but I like trail-gear creeper gussets for the knuckle ball, Im running an upper gusset, knuckle gusset and a small diff armor.

check these out http://www.marlincrawler.com/htm/armor.htm#gusset

oh that would be cool but that would cost as much as brokeokie Tys axle. but that would be rad to build my own axle.
