Didn't you ask this not too long ago  ??? Remove the door panels to access the speakers. That will give you the colors for the speaker wires. Use a test light from your local auto parts store & with the key on find the one that has power, that is your ignition/swith power, red wire to your radio. You will have to run a wire from a constant hot (i.e. battery or some other source that is on with the key off) that is the yellow wire to the radio. Run the black wire from the radio to a good ground under the dash. Wire your speakers.

On the last one I asked if there was a kit or something, and yes i took the door panels off and found that there is two entirely different colors there, well I guess you didnt read the other one entirly or something, cause I only asked if I had to hardwire it in not what colors the wires had to be and stuff. I guess i will just use the ohm meter like i was originally was going to do.

When I have a hard time with that, I just find a hot wire, with a test light. That turns on with the key for the radio accessory wire. Then run a new hot from the battery if you can't find one. Then just run your own speaker wires. I dont like messing with the factory wires if they are hard to tell apart.

Ditto.  The stock stuff on the first gen isn't good enough if you wanna take full advantage of the capabilities of an aftermarket deck.

I think I might just use the stock wires for the door speakers and as for the other 4 im just going to run new wires to them.

 Thanks

the other 4, they are yellow, blue, red and black right? Yellow should be accessory(turns radio on and off with ignition), red battery, blue power antenna and black ground. I might have the blue and yellow backwards.

Yellow goes to the battery, this keeps the memory for the preset stations, clock etc. Red goes to a power source that only comes on when the key is turned on. Blue is for the power antenna or is sometimes a remote power wire for an amplifier turn on. Black is ground.
