So my Camry is having a few issues and I decided to get myself a truck. So I cut work early today and went shopping for a DD/tow rig/sometime wheeler vehicle. Most of you have seen some of my previous rigs know I like Dodge so it only goes to reason that I'd end up with one. So without anymore bs here's some pics of my new truck/SUV. With only 60,000 miles and in immaculate condition I could'nt resist it. Plus it sports just about every option available, it has a 360 V8, auto and it's not a push-button 4wd.

Yeah I have all my stickers mounted to magnets so I can slap them on anything. I'm not going to monster-size it, I am going to lift it eventually but for now it's gonna remain as is.

I used to just stick them on my trucks but it started to get expensive since I tend to not keep them for too long. So I decided on the magnet thing.

Nice ride!  The 5.9 is argueably one of the most reliable motors that dodge has made.  I see lots of 318's in durangos but the 360's not so much.  My mom has an 04 durango with the 4.7 liter and it's a pretty comfy car.  Out of the mid size suv's I would say that body style durango is one of the best out there.

I've always liked the look of Dodge trucks I loved my Ramcharger it also sported the 360 and my old motorhome (a long time ago) had the 413 which is one of the strongest they ever made. The 440 had more power but wasn't as reliable as the 413. Unfortunatly since Dammit took over the trucks have gotten real stupid looking.

Lol I drive an 06 5.7 liter ram.  It's ok though, Dodges quality has severly hitten rock bottom in the last few years and I have so many problems with it I am in the process of a buy back.

Actually Dodge isn't that bad on MPG it's Ford that sucks the life out of you. GM has everyone beat on the MPG. My daughter's 4 door fullsize is in the mid 20's, we'll see how mine is when I actually put some gas in it. I only live 3/4's of a mile from work so I haven't had to put any in since I bought it.

Hay I drive one just like it for a patrol vehicle.  I like it except for the lack of leg room.  I am 6'4"  and my legs hit the dash.  When I am in it for a long period of time it gets uncomfortable.  It sure will get up and move though!

motorider228

Yeah my dad is 6'3 and when he drives my moms 03 durango he has to put the seat all the way back and put the steering wheel all the way up.  I am fortunate I am 6 foot 155 so I can pretty much fit in anything except a miata (but who want to drive one of those anyways)

jimbo74

we have a 02 2wd durango with the 4.7.... it gets 15 mpg

I noticed that too, I'm just under 6' 2" and hit my knee's on the steering wheel getting in but am Ok after that.

The 360 gets better mileage than the 4.7.

The 360 also gets better mileage than the 318.  I had a friend with a regular cab short bed 2 wheel drive indy pace truck ram and he got 16 city, 20 freeway out of his 360.  He had headers, exhaust, intake and rockers.  There might be more but I'm not sure.

I was looking underneath and noticed that it sits real close to the lower bumpstop and there is maybe 3 inches of lift I can crank in on the torsion bars, and it will be easy to put a shackle in since it is similar to a Toyota's.
