front drive shaft cardan rebuild

i have a 1980 front shaft with a double cardan and what i need to know is where can i get the rebuild kit with the seal , spring and ball ? help me please .

hmm,  what  other  parts house  do you have??  try Oreilly's  i think thats where i got my last one,  about $25  for the ball and  stuff,  if  you need the ujoints  they are  around $10

i have advanced , napa , pepboys , autozone  . and their confused when i ask about it . morons should not work in a parts store . anything i can find is way to small . if your'e shore you can get the right part maybe we can work somethin out so i can send you cash and you pick the part up and ship ?

I work at Napa, and the answer is yes.  Precision # 613.  Although, I will tell you what Jesse at High Angle told me. "well, to be honest, the precision ball kit isn't very good.  You could hope that it's repacked Rockwell stuff, but probably not.  I would look for a shaft with a good ball at a wrecking yard and put some new ujoints in it."

i have had  the same  613  in my front shaft  for  over a year  and  it  still holding up :dunno:

:yesnod: easy as pie.  Make sure they order Precision and not GMB.  Both are available, GMB is imported junk while Precision is USA made.
