can too much oil blow your head gasket?

I don't know about the head gasket but it will sure blow seals.

well what exactly do you consider TOO MUCH oil EIGHTYFIVE????

a quart extra wont hurt anything, if you start doing something like 4 quarts extra, or oil comes out the top, lol, then your going to have problems....

hahaha!!! a girl did that in high school!!! she changed her oil.... by adding it till it came out the top!!! drove it to school amazingly!! poor old mustang!!!! flocked that motor!! it was a 302 i believe....

dip stick reads about 1 line away from full.  and if your thinking i filled it to the top, i didn't.  im just wondering if too much oil can blow a head gasket

if your head gasket blew, your head gasket blew.... oil isnt going to make your headgasket blow. keep running it, keep filling the coolant..... it might last it might not..... i drove my truck for 2 weeks on a bad head gasket..... just poured water in it constantly.......
