we're just there to tent camp so I don't care. As long as we can top off our ice.

just an fyi ,you can stay at the campground thats like a 1/2 mile from the loon staging area, iirc it was $5 a spot per day and there were motorhomes there when we were there last year

Thanks, still we feel most secure keeping the motorhome at the KOA even if it does cost us. And I would like to try to get the LBC up the mountain, it does not like inclines.
I think Robbs will work out well. We'll be able to top off the ice and relax for a while.
Are you staying further up the road?
We have over a half dozen people staying/meeting at Robbs.

What do you mean? We passed Robbs on our way up Icehouse last year. Isn't it just off Icehouse Road?
I just checked their map.. oh.. wait you mean in regard to the motorhome? We're leaving the motorhome in at the KOA in Placerville.
