I was depressed and tried pretending that it wasn't happening for about a week.  But that is just me.  its not a big deal afterall.

on the 22'nd Ill be 40 and I am so happy to reach 40 it aint even funny, Ive see the world, almost died three times and I cant wate to hit the big 4 0 to have made it this far is great for me, I know guys that hit a wall of depresion when it happened (30 ) that is, but just be glad you can see the sun rise everyday and know that you have a family and friends that love you, as far as age goes your as young as you feel, so feel as good as you can.

I didn't give a :pokinit: about 30, the big one for me was 40... but the funny thing... for the entire year I was 'turning forty' I was all weirded out about it... till I did some calculations about the month before I was 'turning forty' and I was turning 39!
Then the real thing was uneventful.
Now next year... :disturbed: we will not discuss.

I will be 39 in July.  Life has never been better!  Nothing in the world could make me want to be in my 20's again.  I am slower than I was though and injuries take longer to heal.  Soon I might have to start saying things like "those young whipper snappers" though.
