Relentless Tacoma
« on: Apr 06, 2007, 08:09:45 PM »
Yesterday blew.

Guy came into my lane and hit me head-on.  I just hope this all get's sorted out.  It's in the shop now, going to be quite the fix...

So hopefully this will give me a chance to get some bigger tires, flared fiberglass fenders, and a tube bumper... Anybody got any sites to find some good stuff?

Here she is...

Also, I'm digging Pat's stinger.  So maybe something like this?

hell, that ain't that bad..... it coulda been a lot worse. I'm guessing new radiator, core support, some frame work, new hood and possibly fenders, and a new bumper and grill? that's a light crash at best..... glad you're ok though.

The irony of the word "taco" after seeing the front of your truck amuses me.  Accident are never any fun.

1989 4Runner: Dual Ultimate (Inchworm front & Marlin 4.70 rear), Marlin Twin Stick, 1200-lb clutch, 4.88 R&P, Aussie Front, Detroit rear, 30-spline Longs, Long hub gears, ARP hub and knuckle studs & 35x12.50 Cooper STT PRO tires.  Marlin rear bumper & sliders.  FROR front bumper.  SAS with Alcan springs & Rancho 9000XL shocks.  Budbuilt Bolt-on traction bar.  Custom Interior Cage by Those Guys Rod and Customs.

Could have certainly been worse...

Light crash yeah, but nearly a total.  Truck is valued around 10K and the fix will be about 8K.

Have you got anymore holes in that belt for you to use?   :moon:   I know more about what type of underoos the guys at work wear than I care to know!   At least your fenders are already flared!  That'll save ya some $   :rofl2:

Airbags didn't go off, I'm glad too because that would have hurt.  Also it would have been a total if they had.

I didn't go TC, it got wrecked right after new coilovers and upper a-arms and they didn't get messed up so I reused them.  Ended up buying a new frame, did a frame swap and fixed it.  Got new rims and tires, and blacked out everything that wasn't green.  It's got allpro bumpers f&r now too.
