All Toyota,Marlin adapter from tranny to t-case and from t-case to 2nd case with twin sticks.
OK Peps, a little more detail is needed for for the less educated (me ???). So you have the 2.7 Taco motor, the stock 2WD trans?, to a Marlin adapter and then your standard dual cases?? Or are you running the Marlin "Taco Box" set up: http://www.marlincrawler.com/htm/transfercase/taco_box.htm

3rd Gen 4Runners (especially 2WDs) owned by former "soccer moms" are now readily available for under 5K (and looking like a possible future project). :headscratch:

That sounds like it.I thought the guy I bought it from told me it was a 2.4,but CJ from Malin told me it was a 2.7 with a W59.And after that it's your norman dual case set-up...Possible new project, huh?.Hey I've been trying to get you a new rear bumper and I can get it to you @ cost.Don't know if you still wanna go that route, but if you don't,I'll get ya hooked up on anything else you buy.

Lookin good Peps, but you need to get some ugly beadlocks on that thing and you have to keep Easy E on the side. :rofl2:  Those 2.7's are runners man and love the speed.  Check out wngrog's buggy on Pirate, it's powered by a 2.7 taco motor.

Doin' it FULLSIZE style!

that thing is pretty sick, almost just a slightly bigger brother to mine?.
unless you had a motor swap I doubt you have a 2.7.  2wd's came with 2.4 2rz but there still a sick little motor.  Mine says 3rz right on the valve cover in small letters so maybe yours says something like that on it

Badass little truck! You going to do an interior cage or exo? You'll probably have to gear those 60's super low to turn the 42's with the 4cyl :gap:
