So when is the re-christening? Of course no champagne allowed, just throw empty beer bottles at it since I don't think anyone you know except for me would waste a drop on the side of your truck. :gap:

How you going to fix it? Vulcanizing, stitching it up, both?
I got a couple cooper discovery stts vulcanized and I've put a couple thousand miles on them with no issues.

I had taken a small break from working on the Macho Taco . I had lost motivation mainly because it really bothers me when you want something done a certain way , and someone goes and does something they think you will like . In this case , I was really happy with how the paint came out but right before I picked my truck up from the shop , my painter had added a blue and orange pinstripe that he thought I would like . He is a master painter and one of the coolest dudes I know , but those stripes made me hate the way my rig looked and made me not want to even work on it . . . SO , after a few weeks of contemplating it , I finally got back to working on it . . . . Now , originally when I dropped it off at the shop , it was going to take 2 weeks to swap the cab and paint it but it ended up taking 8 months (not mad about that at all) and the inside was not painted because he wanted me to bring it back after the roll cage was finished because he didn't want the welding to ruin the paint so he wanted to paint the inside after the tubework was done . . . I removed the pinstriping and decided to paint the inside myself , I didn't want to risk leaving my truck at the shop a couple months . So now , I am motivated to get everything finished up and head to KOH next week .

Here's a picture of my Son and I hitting the inside with a wire wheel :

And after I painted it :

I still have to finish the passenger side and do the driver side . I also need to change out the door panels which I will do within the next couple days .

I also put a new windshield in it . .

And of course , a picture of it without the hideous pinstripe :
