 A little routine maintenance work on the Macho Taco before heading out to KOH .


These bolts had seen better days so it was time to swap them out :









And since I thought KOH had a Show & Shine , I had to clean up the rims and tires :

Then my Son Ricky swapped out my busted tail light lenses for new ones . He volunteered . Anyone who has ever met my Son knows , this kid's whole world revolves around off-road . He lives , eats and breathes it . He is the most hardcore young off-roader I have ever known .

The only wheeling pics I have from the weekend     . We only ran Chocolate Thunder and Sledge at night . It was too windy out there .

I remember when we first turned him loose, put him in a Samurai with a 6.5 backed up by a 4:1 Klune-V even at 4yrs old he was not happy going almost .0001 miles per hour.

Part of our group heading back home . It was a great weeking of four wheeling :

We were looking for that arch, where might it be hiding in the vastness of Truckhaven? GPS coordinates would be just lovely.

    I always looked for it and last year I found it when I got lost from my group . When you leave the Axle Alley area to head back to camp , you go north on that main wash towards the 86S . It's a short distance before the road .

Aww crap we must have went right by it, after being unable to find it we went down the wash to the lake and admired all the dead fish along the banks. Oh well maybe on our next trip to the area.

Yup , sounds like you drove right past it   . Next time keep a closer eye out for it , it's right around a turn so it's real easy to miss .

Good seeing you out there bro . That spot is over by the Phone booth , more along the back side . You'll have to come out with us next time , there's a couple of cool spots .
