In the republic of California, you need to take your truck to a smog shop and have it smogged. Because the VIN stays auto, your truck will fail. Next call the bureau of auto repair, the # is in the phone book under "State of California". You will need to call and get an appointment with the referee to get it smogged.
Since both auto and stick use the same emissions, you should have no problem.
Did you change the engine computer? It is difference for a stick shift.MC
