If it's running correctly it shouldn't have any problem.

(might want to get a new converter in NV as insurance (converters are way cheaper in NV))

got your pm, not sure where it was originally sold but the person selling it said he bought it from someone in nevada. its in gardnerville and im taking it back to oroville CA, im not sure how tough they are here though, i doute its as harsh as sacramento though. and also im moving to arnold CA soon, and they dont have to smog unless you sell something in that county.

I thought it was buy or sell something?

If its soon, and I'm wrong on the buying and selling part, just get a temp tag for it.

Other than that, as mentioned before, if the truck is running fine, and is in good shape mechanically, it should pass.

Check to see if it has a California Emissions sticker or a federal sticker under the hood. Not that it matters much except if it has a federal sticker it will be tested at that level rather than at California's level. If it has the fed sticker you will stand a better chance of passing. Either way as long as it has all the emission equipment it is required to have passing would be just like any other vehicle.

When I originaly got my 4-runner, I bought it in Carson City.  You should have no problems, if it runs good.  Of course a lot has changed in 15 years.

pretty much ca sucks

Well Dan,  I have done just about every smog related mod. and Cali has not stopped me yet.
