I thought what caused buggy leafs to unload was the back pressure of the spring itself.  :dunno:

it depends if the springs are arched or not.

I will let him know!  Thanks!  Dad (step) has been a wheeler for years!  A lot of trial and error!  The boy just seems to have a knack for fabricating!  He knows what he "wants" it to do then just finds a way to "make" it!  That and a tight 17 year old budget and one gets creative!

Check out the "Nothinglike a homebuilt Toyota" thread for the latest build!  Even tho it is going to be the daily driver, I am sure it will be on the trail too, and Moorocks for sure!

I need to do a little brain picking:
Can i get some pics of how the IFS box is mounted please?
And how bad does he rub on the firewall with the 39.5's.
How far was the front axle moved forward?
Do the steering arms hit when it is completely flexed out on the passenger side?

Thanks
Drew

Hey love your boys truck! I was just wondering what size chev spring he’s running (how long? 63in?) oh and how does that rear shackle set up work? Does that bar stop at the bottom of the box when flexing or does it just stay put? Also are those boomerang shackles or revolvers up front?
