moonrocks are the shiz and they used to have we- rock contest up there and you can pick any kind of wheelin from hard as hell to just flexin out.  Also another good thing is if you break you are not a mile into a trail, you can drag your rig to a trailer or go get parts easy.

thanks....so why not make a weekend or 3day weekend of the CON and MR?

That'd be a long hard weekend.  It could certainly be done, but as far as the type of wheeling I do, It wouldn't be that fun.  You know, wheel a bit, get out, BS a bit, enjoy the scenery, some tasty beverages, wheel some more, break something, fix something, wheel some more, etc.

It'd be more like a cannonball run type thing.  Like I said, something you could do, but not something I'll prolly ever do.  Besides, moonrocks itself is more of a destination than a trail.  There's a big "base" area, and then a lot of lines and trails runnign through the rocks.  Not to mention in the area around.  You can burn a whole weekend out there, and not hit the same line 2x.

Yeah, and my place is only about a half hour away, through town, and I've got a pull through driveway, welder, grinder, etc.  so any major repairs can be handled close.   Not to mention I know some people that live closer, with better tools! :hahaha:

I've thought about doing a halloween wheeling trip out there. :disturbed:  I think that'd be fun.  Gotta wheel in costumes, the whole bit :gap:
