Thanks, Got them on yesterday. Im gonna lift the rear about 1" and trim the lower 1/4 panel its rubbing already.. Yea ill take that spare off for sure, not only will it bend, that :pokinit: will break off.

Yea man its been a while.. We need to grab some beers.
Nothing set for sure yet but ill be doing rubicon in sometime in June again. Then im sure a few local runs will be going on, big bear etc.. im looking forward to a shredder run hopefully.

Got the front Alloys in last week, and the 1.5" shackles for the rear came in last night.

that looks great man.  I like the low look with the big tires.  Just put a flat belly on it and your set ha ha.  It is great to see another xj on these boards gettin it.  We need to hit the trails.

Thanks guys, The front is perfect, its trimmed pretty high and it doesnt rub. The next step would be to remove the fender and just run some toob off the front bumper..... Soon, soon... :D The rear i cant trim anymore, XJ's are unibody and i would be opening up the welds if i trimmed higher. Ive got a pair of 1.5"  shackles sitting in garage waiting to go on, once i put those on and properly bumpstop it, should be OK.  :beer:

The rear 1/4 guards are made by a guy in colorado. Performace metal works, they are 3/16 steel

I welded on some frame stiffners check out the thread here http://board.marlincrawler.com/index.php?topic=31392.0 and when i start my cage they will tie into those. Thats about as stiff as its gonna get.

i dig chopped fenders on Cherokees... i feel on wranglers they're not as nice.. but overall nice rig!

how are those quarter guards attached? bolted with round head bolts like they look?
