Blingn

dont worry snowshoebrue ..... we know what is comming up soon.  Hey do you and your lady just want to ride along.  You guys are more than welcome.  Hey blackdog and ruger we are going to be getting even a later start than we thought on friday pm or call us.

Blingn

one more thing then I need to load up the Jeep

To reach the Hungry Valley-Moon Rocks area, take Hwy. 80 to Reno and then take Pyramid Highway north (Hwy. 445). From Pyramid Highway take a left on Winnemucca Ranch Road. At about five miles on Winnemucca Ranch Road the pavement ends. Go another two miles on the dirt road and you will see the Hungry Valley sigh on your left. Turn left and follow the dirt road for about ? mile to the lower staging area. You can't miss the "Moon Rocks" at the staging area. If you continue on for another ? mile you will end up at the upper staging area, which is where most of the overnight campers set up camp.

 I was kickin myself for not thinkin of it sooner.  I'm kinda glad we didn't take it though:

Blackdog, Ruger and Blingn all managed to break pretty good!! Better than any other trip we've taken.  BD busted his center link in half on Saturday afternoon.  We called every scrap yard and parts store and 4x4 store within 50 miles.  Finally found one scrap yard that had it (the only one in this side of NV that was open).  Picked up the part (an hour from moon rocks INTO nevada).  Ruger blew up his rear end and drove home in front wheel drive, and Blingn taco'd his tie rod-this was great.  He taco'd his tie rod, then hammered it back and sleeved it with some galvanized pipe.  It ain't goin nowhere now :gap:

BD, Spotter and Ruger are probably bout home by now.  We finally got the rig off the trailer and everything unloaded.  Shower's done I'm goin to bed :woohoo:

I have to get my cameras developed and onto CD, and we gotta get the pics from Ruger's camera.  They'll be here soon :crossed:

Oh yeah, Diane's right :hahaha: The crappy clutch, blown tcase and unbalanced driveshaft wouldn't keep me off the trail if I could tow my junk :gap: They all still work, it's just a bit of a chore.  And I don't think there's any real fixing what I've already busted... it'll be replaced soon.  Taxes are coming up

Not likely.  We'll be recovering from this trip, but if our tax returns are nice enough, maybe we'll see if we can get someone to tow me down there and he can tow the Jeep :crossed:

:psss: I'll prolly be the one posting the pics :gap:
