hey all, lurker of long time, finally signed up. ive got an 82 longcab, shortened frame and what not, nothing special, but ive got my duals adapter, hy-steer and all my suspension parts sitting in the basement waiting for warmer weather

finally got a welder so i can properly bob a first gen box, ive got a 2wd second gen on it right now with no tailgate end haha

and my only poser shot haha, doesnt have alot of flex, until the rears are up front and some customs tacomas in the rear

no thankg god, its haggard haha, hence my name, i gotta do some work on it, i almost regret buying this truck. problems so far i have found.....crap wiring, 1 bolt holding the crossmember on, 2 bolts from the tranny to the engine, exhaust looks like he robbed a swing set to build it, and today finally figure dout why my brakes have been jolting me recently, instead of getting the right size u-bolts, the previous owner just used some randoms ones and used a giant nut as a spacer then a lock washer and then the proper sized nut, so finally one had slipped and bent the u-bolt..........@##$#%#$#$@$#.......although alot of that is my fault for not noticing stuff like that when i bought it.

plans for the extra cab are going to be fillinf in the sides in the cab with that expaning foam to deaden it abit, and add some speakers, then weld in some sheet meatl to close it all in haha.

this summer ill be cutting the roof to make it convertable, and get a soft top sewn up with a small cage for the passengers and also act as something for the soft top to clip to besides the roof. just gotta figure out how to do that under an exo haha.
