Wanted:Used 1986-1995 Calipers from an IFS truck. I need them in good working condition.

Goto the auto parts store & buy them. They're not expensive. Then turn in your solid axle calipers as a core AFTER you do the swap. Most parts counter people don't know the difference. They only know it's a caliper you are returning. Been there done that.  :twocents:

I have heard of people doing that, but I am actually concerned about somebody later buying my cores and end up getting the wrong ones.  The rebuild company would probably repackage them as IFS calipers.  It's an ethics thing. :twocents:

The rebuilder knows, it's the person taking your core that doesn't. They don't care anyway, they would rather have the calipers to send back than pay the core.
