Just stopping by to say hi, I'll have alot more questions for you guys in the coming days.

I'm new to wheelin, I've got a '85 4Runner with a new engine and parts going in the coming weeks. The truck has been in the family since it was new, but this is going to be the first time anyone has modified it for off-roading.

It's got intake and exuast covered, next step is lifting and tires. So any help you guys can give me will be great!

I'll have more specific questions later on.

I've been doing some snooping around and I'm thoroughly impressed with what you guys have done to your rigs! You guys have some real talent, and I can't wait to dive in!

I'll be getting to that in the next few days, it's really dirty cause it's been sitting for an entire year. But once my engine arrives I'll be taking pictures of the entire process, so there will be updates. Even though I'm sure some of you could swap it out with your eyes closed. Heh.

Order of operation:
1. Buy front axle rebuild kit, 54mm hub socket, pull scale, lock ring plyers, Aussie Lock the front & rear then have fun for a while

2. Build or buy your suspension, buy or find another topshift gear driven transfer case, buy Marlin's new MC07-R10 adapter, buy Front Range Offroad transfercase center section and build a crossmember, build a square front driveshaft, instead of shortening your rear driveshaft move your springs back, buy a twin stick shifter, buy 2 transfer case rebuild kits, buy tires, special order 2" BS wheels from Summit Racing, buy 1.5" wheel spacers for the front & rear (until you replace the rear axle with an axle from 1986-1995) Buy extended brake lines, then wheel some more.

3. Spend more money.
