woot woot! mrsK and myself are now CHL holders, just waiting for the licenses to be mailed from the sheriffs office. We be packin and she be packing a new Kimber Ultra Carry II in stainless that I got her for valentines day. Nothing says " I love you" like a new piece funny thing is now she will have a nicer pistol than ANY of mine

I recently picked up an XD 45 in the 4" service model flavor that is 13+1 (amazing capacity for a .45!)  and Springfield makes a compact XD that would rock for the ladies, and with optional extended magazines, the compact goes from 10+1 to 13+1 !!

Now THAT'S a keeper right there   I'd be down for an XD also, those are nice guns!

I've had mine for many years now!  I got mine for two reasons!  1. that way I don't have to have my gun out in the open in my rig!  That's just advertising!  2. When there was a 15 day handgun wait!  That way you buy the gun, you walk out with the gun!  Now the background check is done over the phone or computer with the feds!

But there is nothing like getting pulled over and having the police ask you if you are packing?
