pitman arm?????
« on: Feb 15, 2007, 12:55:17 PM »
i have a 1975 fj 40 and i bought the high steer from marlin, but from what i was told i need to find a pitman arm from a 1975-1980 dodge 4x4 to send back to marlin so they can put the insert in.  But i cannot find a pitman arm for that truck at all..  so any info would be great...

TIA

If you need one bad call Jeff @ 509-299-7664 he should have exactly what you are looking for he must own 15-20 4x4's in that era.  The shipping will be from Spokane WA just so you know.

I've very sorry, send us the pitman arm you were currently using. We can put an insert into almost any Saginaw pitman arm. Some times the pitman arm is too small for an insert but let us have a look at it.

I've heard some of the guys talk about this dodge pitman arm; I don't know what they are talking about. I'm the only guy working here that owns a cruiser (2 FJ40's). Rookies. :shake:

Is this sleeve for use of the FJ80 TREs? I'm running into the same problem with the saginaw arm and haven't been able to get any good sources to do this.

not trying to steal business from marlin, but, does you current steering arm have the tapered shaft coming out like the mini trucks have? if so, SKY MFG, can solve your problem, the make an adapter to use your current steering arm, it cost 32 dollars plus shipping.....dont know if this will help you guys out or not....
Sand, what fun, drop pressure to 12psi, stock tires are still digging, can't afford to get stuck, 8psi, still not working. Find a place to GET OUT, air up, un-lock hubs,  WAIT whats this, hubs are UN-LOCKED already. 2wd, 8psi, stock tires, Oregon sand dunes.
