2007 tundra
« on: Feb 10, 2007, 02:07:11 PM »
Hey Guys,

Going to do a couple things to a 2007 crewmax trd tundra. I would like to do a leveling kit cause i think the front end is just too low. I'm thinking i should be able to run some 33's with some nice looking 20's. What do you guys think about this. I'm trying to figure out if the front suspension change and if i can just run a leveling kit from a 06 tundra?

Let me know your input

Thanks,
Max

i was just reading that toyota spent one BILLION dollars to outfit their dealerships shops with the ability to handle the size of these things! They actually took and f250 around to make sure they would fit in the bays. i can wait to see how big they are

I like the body of the -06 better, but 381 hp ROCKS!!! :yikes:  I actually got a teensy bit scared when I test-drove one.  I'd have a lot of speeding tickets, fo sho!

They look like they are only raked like an inch, not to bad compared to my f250 which will take 2.5 to 3" to Laval. I'll buy one when they put a diesel in it now that would be sweet

I dont understand it either. You would think they would stay with what they have had for ever. Especially with those big ass rotors why wouldnt they just stay 6lug.

Yeah man, i dont understand it either. I always thought it looked really goofy personaly. 2wd lowriders maybe, but 4wds?? just seems like an overall pointless money wasting endevor. I read an article in Petersons i think it was and they said larger rims detracted from all areas of performance, even driving on pavement. but to each his own...at least its not as bad as those DUB cars where they take a caprice or something and give it some wicked custom lift so they can fit like 50 inch rims under it.....
