I need a new commuter, vote on what gen I should buy
« on: Feb 09, 2007, 12:25:41 PM »
do I want to get a 1st gen or 2nd gen straight axle or 3rd gen IFS. Also 22r or 22re or V6. Are the performance bennies worth the trouble of EFI for a daily driver? Is the V6 (never had one) a @#$% to work on? Help me figure this one out...

The V6 is more expensive to build & the early V6 engine problems. If your 6ft you will want at least 2nd or 3rd gen extra cab or 4Runner. There is at more leg room.  :twocents:

Is the performance gain from the efi worth how hard it is to work on? (daily driver) thanks all

The efi is harder to work on that a carbed, I thought it was the opposite.
