have you had a chance to really play with it.  I am interested in how you like the auto trans/convertor choice. 

Well, I got to go play with this thing yesterday and I'd have to say I'm very happy with the trans/converter choice. And so you know, I overfilled the tranny just a little bit and had this thing on some pretty steep angles and I didn't notice any slippage at all. It actually performed well beyond my expectations. I was actually running with some other Toyotas built very similarly to mine and it seemed like I was able to negotiate some of the obstacles a little easier with the auto over the sticks. I think I'm really going to like this setup. Oh and sorry, I didn't get any pics...I ran off and left my camera at home. A buddy of mine did get some pics and is supposed to send them to me....I'll post them up as soon as I get them.

That's the transmission cooler. It's a Derale and works great.

Those are actually PRP Daily Driver seats. At the time that I purchased them, they were $245.00 each. Well worth it in my opinion...those things are comfortable.

Thanks. And I may just do that. I had a couple of people ask me about the dash and I made up a dimensional drawing of the frame that I built for the dash and took a couple more detailed pics on how I mounted it. It was really a pretty easy thing to do. I'll probably do that this evening when I get home from work.

Well, I finally got a few pics of my first time out with this thing. I wish I had more but I ran off and forgot to take my camera. I have to say, this is my first time wheeling with a crawl box and I just love it. I just can't believe how different it is compared to what I've been doing in the past. I think I'm going to have a blast in this rig.

Did you ever mention what rpm stall the converter was?  I couldn't find it, also your truck is kick ass dave.

Oops...I did forget to mention that. Actually it's a stock Chevy 4x4 converter. I wasn't real sure if it was going to work out or not but it seems to be working pretty well so far. In the future, I may change it out to a little higher stall but who knows I may just stick with this one. The only issue I have right now is getting the rear tires to fully stop when I'm in 2wd Low/Low. It really isn't too bad though especially in 4wd. Oh and I do have the stock drums in the rear and it's an 87 axle.
And thanks for the compliment...I think I'm going to have a ball with this thing.
