i guess no one likes or has any comments for my rig lol

Gittinit

If nobody is saying anything its usually a good sign. Who wants to see a bunch of "good job, nice truck" post.

Oh by the way good job nice truck! Although it puzzles the crap out of me why you chose to pit that ugly nonfunctional double tube rollbar on that cool flatbed. :screwy:
Hug your kids, pray for a soldier, and don't sweat the small stuff.

hollywood_toy90

nice rig man, i like the flat bed.

bustatoy

yeah i built the flatbed...........used schwab tires are getting me by until i have enough to get 37's

bustatoy

picked up some weld on beadlocks today for $50  next step will be rims and 37's or 38's

will stock shafts hold up to anything bigger than a 37???

topar

bustatoy

i need some help i cant decide on how wide of a rim to get with these weld on beadlocks i was think either a 8,9,or 10 inches wide because for now i will probly be just running 35 12.50 tires and that will be the narrowest tire i will be running so if you guys or gals have ideas on how wide of rim to run

Hyena

get and 8 inch.  the weld on beadlocks will then make it a 9 or 10 inch wide rim.  DON'T go with reversed centered wheels becasue you won't be able to use the beadlock rings with them.

To get a 2 inc or 2.5 inch back spacering they actually weld the center part of the rim backwards.  by doing this you can get more backspacing.  but then you will also need to mount the tire on the front side of the rim now.  if you have that ring welded to the outside lip you will not be able to get the tire on the rim.  then you will have 4 very expensive paper weights.

bustatoy

ok i get it im just getting normal backspacing for toyota which i think it is 4 or 4.5inches

its like 3.75in.  anything more then 4 in and the rim will hit the stock steering arm.

bustatoy

ok i knew it was something around 4 or so i was close

bustatoy

getting ready to cut old exo cage and rock sliders off and start building new cage and sliders. ordered steel yesturday and man, steel is expensive i spent about $300 for 100ft of 1 1/2 .120 wall tubing and 40ft of 2 inch .188 wall square tubing so i have my work cut out for me for awhile

bustatoy

i finally got my rock sliders made up and now just waiting for some more free time to start building my new cage.
